Presenting Work
Browsing through artstation I found some work presented rather in a rather professional and eye catching way, the way they have presented their work on this site looks incredibly professional and in the image below the way they have rendered the image really stands out in my opinion due to the focus point being on the wheelchair, blurring the scene around the asset. I think this would be best for my exhibition due to the quality of my assets being higher than the environmental aspects of the scene and could render the boards more eye catching, especially as my main focal asset is a vehicle, I think this is extremely relevant and would definitely be almost a perfect way to render my scene.

Below are two boards by Ned Souris, found on artstation under the tag ‘mk4 golf’ as this is the vehicle I’m creating and modifying. I personally like the way he’s presented his vehicle due to the lack of bordering and text displayed giving it a picture perfect style which I could potentially use for my presentation, however mine will most likely not be as ‘picture perfect’ as this below due to the fact I’m still learning. I am however hoping for the best overall quality and will be aiming for the realistic style shown below.
Below I have decided to include an example of a very poor way of presenting the vehicle I’m aiming to make, I personally think that this individual could have benefited from having further boards displaying textures and could have added the vehicle into a small diorama of sorts as to not look too dull. I do however like the angles he has displayed the vehicles in but I will most likely avoid producing the boards displayed below.
Below are some exhibition boards made by Callum McKay, his boards stood out for me in particular as he has simply rendered his scene from 5 different views instead of displaying a few of his assets with one final render. I personally like the lack of wireframe displayed within these boards as it looks far cleaner and will most likely stand out further in exhibition for my vehicle in particular.

Below are some boards produced by Erwin Monteaguedo, he has rendered his scene in wireframe mode aswell as fully textured and has a board just for one of his textures. I don’t think this is a particularly good way of displaying work in my opinion as he clearly has used more than two textures in his scene, however the way he has rendered and set out the boards above the textures fits quite well with his chosen pathway. However this would not suit the particular project I am aiming to produce.
I like how he’s presented the scene as basic renders however feel that his text and icons could be potentially distracting from the actual piece itself, as well as in the second board displaying the wireframe having a background seems rather pointless in my opinion and just looks rather sloppy so I will most likely be rendering my scene from various angles in the same way shown in the first board displayed below.
